What to expect when you bring home kitty!

Here are a few key tips, that will help your new family member feel safe, and comfortable in their new home!
-Start in a small room: introducing your new kitty in a small area of your house is always best, to help them feel secure. Have their litter box, food, water, and a comfy bed for them in that space. Then slowly let them get used to the rest of the house, with them knowing that room is still their safe space.

-Monitor kitty for behavior changes: kitty may be nervous in their new space, but they should still want to eat, and drink, and use the litter box. Even if it is a few days before this occurs, they will still want to eat, and drink.

-Have patience: almost every kitty acts differently in a new space. Being aware of this, and having understanding will allow you to enjoy your new family member, once they acclimate to their new space.
